Answers

Common questions before the first shovel.

How much does a custom pond cost in San Diego?

Most residential pond and water feature projects in San Diego fall between $15,000 and $75,000, depending on size, rock work, filtration, plumbing runs, and landscaping. We provide a firm written estimate after an on-site consultation so there are no surprises.

How long does a pond installation take?

A typical residential ecosystem pond or waterfall takes one to three weeks on site. Larger recreational ponds and projects that include heavy grading or planting can run longer. We share a full timeline before we break ground.

Do you build ponds you can actually swim in?

Yes. Our recreational ponds use a separate swimming zone and a planted regeneration zone that filters the water biologically — no chlorine, no salt. It looks and feels like a natural lake.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Symbiotic Gardens is a licensed and insured contractor, and every project we install carries a written craftsmanship warranty.
